Trading and Lending

These are the actions you take inside a self-managed garden. An index-connected garden rebalances itself instead, and restricts some of these while it is connected.

Swapping tokens#

1. Open a garden and select Swap.
2. Choose the token to swap and the token to receive, then enter the amount.
3. The application checks your available balance and requests a quote.
4. The estimated amount you will receive is displayed.
5. Review the exchange rate and slippage, and adjust the slippage if you need to.
6. Select Confirm Swap and approve the transaction in your wallet.
7. The application submits the swap and shows its status until confirmed.
8. Garden balances refresh and the completed swap is shown.

If no route is available. If the application cannot find a valid route or quote, it shows an error. Change the tokens or the amount and request a new quote.

If the swap fails. If the transaction fails or you reject it, the application shows the failure status and you can try again.

Supplying to lending#

1. Open a garden and select Lending. The available options are listed.
2. Select an asset and enter the amount to supply.
3. The application checks the garden balance.
4. Review the details and select Supply.
5. Approve the transaction in your wallet.
6. The application submits it, shows its status, then refreshes and displays your updated position.

Withdrawing from lending#

1. Open a garden and select Lending. Your current positions are listed.
2. Select a position, then select Withdraw.
3. Enter the withdrawal amount. The application validates it.
4. Review the details and confirm.
5. Approve the transaction in your wallet.
6. The application submits the withdrawal, shows its status, then refreshes both the garden balance and the lending position.

Withdrawing USDC from a garden#

1. Open a garden and select Withdraw.
2. The application first checks whether the garden can be withdrawn from.
3. Select USDC, then enter an amount or pick a percentage.
4. The application validates the amount.
5. Review the details and confirm.
6. Approve the transaction in your wallet.
7. The application submits the withdrawal and shows its status.
8. Once confirmed, the USDC is transferred to your wallet and the garden balance refreshes.
